Growing up in an artistic family, Madelyn was fortunate to have a childhood full of musical and theatrical exploration. As a teen, she discovered her passion for performance and writing and ultimately chose to pursue both at Texas Christian University. In May 2022, Madelyn graduated from TCU with a double degree in Theatre and Strategic Communication and soon after moved to New York City.
These two studies have enabled Madelyn to tell stories -- something she is deeply passionate about. Whether she's functioning as a storyteller in a content copywriting position or a role onstage, Madelyn finds solace in the way stories foster empathy and connect humanity together. Recently, she has taken up creating her own. Her one-act play, Dad's Gone to War, was produced at TCU as a staged reading (for more, check out her playwriting tab).
Alongside her theatrical pursuits, Madelyn is an experienced live singer. You can find her performing in New York City at local bars, restaurants, coffee shops, weddings, and corporate events. While living in Texas, her soulful, dynamic tone drew crowds across the DFW metroplex, where she fronted her classic rock cover band, Madelyn & the Midnight Riders.
A multi-genre vocalist, Madelyn has a strong concentration in jazz, blues, and rock and is thrilled to be making a name for herself in the vibrant NYC music scene as a new resident of the city. For more information on upcoming gigs and booking inquiries, check out her music tab.
